Full new-ship rule: cargo/HSC ≥500 GT constructed on/after 1 July 2024 carrying more than 12 IP under aggregate rule; existing ships use separate XV/3 branches.

Procedure / How to Complete It

1. Calculate aggregate IP + special personnel + passengers, with passengers ≤12.
2. Check construction date, ship/craft type and prior authorisation.
3. Authorised pre-2024 cargo: first intermediate or renewal, whichever first.
4. Authorised pre-2024 HSC: third periodical or first renewal, whichever first.
5. If not previously authorised, comply/certify before carrying >12 IP.
